Validate your website
Most websites are coded quite sloppily. Luckily the search engine bots and browsers are designed to deal with malformed code. However how do you know that all of your websites and all of your pages are being indexed properly? Is malformed code making the bot hiccup and causing you to lose valuable visitors?

Understanding Domain Flipping
Since I started this blog back in October of 2007 I have always found a lot of confusion around the term “domain flipping”. I think at least once a year I will re-visit this topic and give people a detailed look at what the Domain Flipping process involves.
I have written several posts about this in [...]

Off the wall domain name stats
It has been awhile since I have done my "Off the wall domain name stats" so I figured I would do another one. These are some stats that are not always seen and are pretty interesting numbers. These stats show domain names that are moving from one parking company to another, which registrars are the [...]

So what next?
I started this blog to talk about anything and everything under the sun, but due to the fact that my interest at the time was mostly domaining, its become a one subject blog and not something I’m happy with.
Specially since there are a lot of people who blog about domains and do it a lot [...]

The nominee for Assistant Attorney General for Anti-trust at the United States Department of Justice, has said that she considers Google to be a monopoly. She also said she was “deeply troubled” by Google’s purchase of DoubleClick and its proposed purchase of Yahoo’s search business.
The key is online advertising. Google’s aggressive moves to dominate this [...]
Toys.com Sells For $5,100,000 To Toys R Us!
DirectNavigation.com just mentioned that the domain Toys.com has sold for a final price of $5,100,000 (auction). As a huge toy store across the United States (and various parts of the world), I think this this domain will probably just get forwarded to Toys R Us‘ domain, ToysRUs.com. Maybe not? We’ll just have to wait and [...]
Toys”R”us Buys Toys.com Domain Name for $5.1 Million
The Toys.com domain name bankruptcy auction is now over. I caught the tail end of the auction and listened and Twittered as the 2 final bidders ToysRus and National A1 Advertising fought it out with $5,000 bid increments. The final blow by Toys”R”us was a $5,100,000 bid that trumped National A1’s $5,000,000 bid. Up until [...]
Toys.com goes to Toys R Us for 5.1 million USD!
Larry from DirectNavigation.com is currently covering the live auction of Toys.com. Famous domainer, Frank Schilling, dropped out after the bids rose to 2.9 Million. This seems to be a battle between 2 giants, Toys R Us and National A-1 . Current bid (at time of writing) has reached 4.9 Million . (I think we’re reaching the peak [...]
